I love having soft skin. That’s not always easy to achieve living in Colorado’s dry climate, but I’ve found exfoliating makes a hug difference. I used to spend tons of money on scrubs, but they never seemed to last really long and I never really loved any of the ones I tried. I was watching a YouTube video one day and the girl said she used only regular white sugar to exfoliate. I had never thought about making my own sugar scrub! The best part is I was able to make it just using ingredients I had around the house.
I used white sugar and then mixed in a bunch of stuff that good for your skin like olive oil, coconut oil, and vitamin e oil. I keep them in an old Lush container and it works amazingly. It exfoliates and moisturizes at the same time. And, whenever I run out I can just go to my kitchen and make more.
Recipe:
1 cup white sugar
2 Tbs coconut oil (liquid state for mixing)
2 Tbs Vitamin E oil
2 Tbs olive oil
Mix together and store in an airtight container
