Holiday season is coming and that means gift giving time is coming. I have found so many things I’m excited to get for friends and family this year.
- A good headlamp! These are so great year round, but especially in the winter when the days are so short. You can find this one here
- Balegas are my absolute favorite running socks ever. They are so squishy and comfortably and don’t rub your feet raw even on long runs. Plus you can’t beat the cute colors. Check them out.
- Essential oils are awesome for so many different reasons. There’s tons of brands out there. Personally I like Whole Foods because they’re not as expensive and I can smell them before I buy.
- Life Straw not only has great products, but is also an amazing company. They donate supplies to villages in Africa to help them gain access to clean water. This kind of bottle definitely comes in handy for hiking and backpacking as it can filter water from any source. You can get more info here.
- Poles! These are on my Christmas list this year. There’s so many times over the past year that I wish I had had a set. I’m also obsessed with the blue color.
- I use my Garmin Forerunner 235 literally everyday. From gym workouts to step counting, from runs to hikes; it tracks everything for me. Super user friendly too! The app also shows more details like change in elevation, cadence, and VO2 max. You can find more details and in depth reviews on Garmin’s site.
- Being outside a lot in the winter means dry skin. We all know good skincare is so important and Beautycounter is my go to for awesome non-toxic skincare. I’m obsessed with their brightening oil- its helped my skin become brighter and more moisturized (not an easy thing in Colorado’s dry climate!). Its a little on the pricey side, but I use my bottle everyday and its lasted a year! Pick it up here!
- I recently learned about Addictive Wellness and their raw chocolates. Who doesn’t want to feel good about eating chocolate? These are packed with super foods, herbs, and mushrooms that help with energy, focus, and calming. The best part is it still feels like an indulgent treat.
- My feet can really hurt after a long run or hike. Having comfy shoes helps with recovery and helps to stop the whole hobbling around thing from happening after lots of exertion. I’m obsessed with these.
- Fleece lined leggings. I don’t think I have to explain any more than that. There’s a ton out on the market. I recently had a friend recommend these.
- Cute headbands keep hair back and ears warm. They are a must for winter!
- This lotion smells so good and is designed specifically for “environmentally stressed skin”. My skin gets so dry and itchy from being outside and then blasting the car heater/hot shower water; this helps so much. As a bonus it is cruelty free and vegan. I used to find it at Walgreens and Target, but I most recently ordered it from here.
- Cute reusable water bottles are everywhere. Not only do you help your own hydration, but the environment too. Win win.
- A good pair gloves is a non negotiable. These keep your hands warm and still allow you to use a touch screen. That means you can take picture without having your hands freeze! Find these here.
