“I’m looking to do a Christmas Eve photo shoot. Black tie themed, very formal” the message read. At first I was unsure- I had never done anything like this before! But after messaging with Brittany a few more times, I knew this shoot would be unforgettable.
Brittany and Brandon were here visiting Colorado from Florida and staying in the gorgeous Garden of the Gods club. We scheduled their shoot during golden hours and with the view of Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak I knew it would be absolutely magical.
I got to the hotel a few minutes early and was immediately enthralled with the views and Christmas decorations. We met in the lobby and the couple was absolutely stunning in their formal wear. I love when couple’s have an idea of what they want but leave it to me to put my creative twist on it. We did just that, starting inside and making our way all over the hotel.
Brittany was bubbly and sweet while Brandon was more stoic, but still an amazing gentleman. You could tell by how he looked at Brittany that he absolutely adored her. As we took pictures I learned they were high school sweethearts, but only recently married. The love and adoration between the two was clear, and got some truly memorable shots for them to take back to Florida.
