The internet is so cool. We can find out endless amount of information, connect with people, plan trips, and order way too many things from Amazon Prime. When Trinh messaged me through Instagram that she wanted to do some family photos while they were visiting Colorado; I’m not going to lie, I did a little happy dance. Of all the Colorado Springs photographers on Instagram, she picked me!
This sweet family was visiting for the first time from Texas. They were overwhelmed by how beautiful it was here and the many location options. We ended up deciding on Garden of the Gods at sunset, a total classic and oh so beautiful.
The day of the session was a little nerve racking. The poor family got stuck in terrible traffic on their way back from the day’s adventures and we had to change from golden hour 3pm to 430pm. The sun sets so fast in the winter, and we were all worried there wouldn’t be enough light, but it turned out beautifully!
It was cold and windy- I think we were all thankful it was a 30 minute mini session. They were total troopers and the boys were the cutest ever! They loved each other so much and totally loved being in front of the camera!
I’m so thankful I got to help this beautiful family capture memories of their Colorado trip to have forever.
